Our Mission

The 2D Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division is the last remaining permanently forward-stationed division in the US Army. The 2nd ID mission is to deter aggression and maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula; and if deterrence fails, "Fight Tonight" in support of the US-Republic of Korea Alliance.
