Dunker Training is designed to teach aviators and aircrew members how to escape an aircraft in the event an aircraft crashes into water. The training ensured "Fight Tonight" mission readiness for these members of 2nd CAB.

The 2nd Infantry Division hosted the Commander's Cup Awards Recognition Ceremony at Carey Gym on Camp Casey, South Korea, Aug. 4. The first place winners for the competition were Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Company C, for the large category, the 4th Chemical Battalion for the medium category, and 1st Battalion, 38th Field Artillery Regiment for the small category.
