Colonel W. M. Bochat

Colonel Bochat has commanded at the tactical level for company, battalion, and brigade command, to include company command forward deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.  Her strategic assignments include Deputy CJ5 and the lead CIV-MIL Planner for Combined Joint Interagency Task Force (CJTIAF) 435, Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan where her team was responsible for planning Rule of Law, Detention, and Reintegration Operations; and the Senior Military Advisor for the DASD of OSD CWMD Policy. 

Colonel Bochat is a graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy with a Masters in National Security Resources; School of Advanced Military Science with a Masters in Military Science; and Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English. Colonel Bochat speaks Japanese.

Colonel Bochat’s awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, and the Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters.

She is married and has two sons
