Brigadier General Moon, Han Ok is a native of Seoul, ROK and earned her commission as an Infantry Second Lieutenant in 1997.
General Moon took several positions during her career. Some of the highlighted positions are as follows. Her deep experience began from '13.09 - '15.10' as the Combined Working Group Planner, Joint Chief of Staff for ROK. After serving as the Commander of the Training Battalion, 35ID from '15.10 - '17.12', she furthered her experience in international relations as a Military Diplomacy Planning Officer for the ROK Policy Office from '17.12-'18.12. She had a short time as the Personnel Verification Committee Member at ROK HQ from '21.6-'21.12. She then returned to a key combined role as the Chief of Staff-ROK, 2ID/RUCD from '21.12-'22.10. Following her time as the Deputy Commander of the 2nd Engineering Brigade, 2nd Corps from '23.7-'23.12', she took on a significant multinational responsibility as Officer in Charge of Peacekeeping Ministerial at the Multinational Division from '23.12 - '24.12. Her expertise was again called upon when she operated as the Chief of the International Military Cooperation Branch in the ROK Joint Chief of Staff from '24.12 - '26.01. This extensive experience has culminated in her current assignment as DCG-R for 2ID RUCD, continuing her service at the heart of a combined operational environment.
Brigadier General Moon graduated Sookmyung Women's University with her bachelor’s degree class '97 and pinned Second Lieutenant. She also earned a master’s degree at Seoul National University. Brigadier General Moon's awards and decorations are commensurate with her time in service.
