2nd Infantry Division ROK/US Combined Division commander Maj. Gen. David Lesperance and Command Sgt. Maj. Kenneth Franco presented Col. Germann with the Legion of Merit for his outstanding leadership and performance during his tenure as commander of the "Thunder" Brigade.
