Colonel Todd Brown received his Commission as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy in 1996.

Colonel Brown is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced courses, U.S. Army Basic Airborne Course, Jumpmaster Course, Military Free Fall Course, and the U.S. Army Ranger Course.

Colonel Brown’s previous assignments include: Rifle and Scout Platoon Leader at 1-508th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy; Ranger Rifle Platoon Leader, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; Company Commander, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado; Instructor at USMA (West Point, New York); Executive Officer for 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia, 75th Ranger Special Troops Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia, and Regimental Executive Officer for the 75th Ranger Regiment. He has served as the Battalion Commander for 2-503rd Airborne, Vicenza, Italy and 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment; Deputy Commander for the Joint Interagency Task Force National Capital Region; and Regimental Commander for the 75th Ranger Regiment. Most recently, COL Brown served as the J3, Joint Special Operations Command, Fort Liberty.

Colonel Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree from USMA, a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University, and a Master’s Degree in National Security Strategy from National Defense University.
